How to create a workable filter which include "Defect Category"

As per my question above, the original filter I created which included the "Defect Category" condition is no longer workable now. I've tried to correct the formula but cannot make it work. 

For example, if I want to search the "Regression" issue marked in "Defect Category", how should I rewrite the formula? Please advise it soon.

project = "PaintShop Pro" AND type = Bug AND "defect category[Checkboxes]"
