How to create a custom filed in team-managed project in Jira app using Jira REST API?

My requirement is to create a custom field(single select drop down) in a team managed project in Jira software and make that custom field visible during the issue creation. I want to know how I can do this using the Jira REST API? I need to create a custom filed in team managed project in anyway possible apart from using Jira UI.

Please give me a solution as early as possible.

Hi @Lakshman Kumar 11110 welcome to the community. 

As of now there is no public API for creating fields in team-managed project, as this is a project scope
