How to add custom comment depending on the field value in two different issues?

Hi, 

I have a field name "Self Assessment Status" in one of the project which stores the Workflow status of the issue relates to this ticket from another project. 

we have a denied workflow status in Self-Assessment Project workflow. 

1. when the status is denied, I want to update a comment in both of the projects.

Do you want to create a new comment or update a comment ?

You cannot easily edit a comment but you can create some using automation for jira that is included in JIRA Data Center.
