How to Make the field Fix Version a Mandatory field

When I move the task from one state to another, I want JIRA to ask to fill the field Fix Version mandatory. 

Right now, even though the field Fix Version is set as Required, we could still create the task and move it to different states without filling out the Fix Version field.

You can place a Validator on the transition to each status in the workflow and make the Fix Version field required.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. In this case, I am trying to make the field mandatory in the NextGen project, but its not happening . But I am able to make it mandatory in the Classic Project.
