How do I find if my user picker field is empty when I transition from one status to other?

Before the developers mark a ticket as Ready for UAT, I want them to fill two fields.
1. Testing Required? Option: Yes/No

2. Tester? Option: User picker fields

Here, I have used the conditions of the transition where I am merging two condition.
A. If Testing Requires is Yes
B. The Tester field should not be Empty.

If both conditions A&B are true, allow the user to transition the task to Ready for UAT.

Please refer to the screenshots attached. I tries changing the comparison type to Option ID too but it didn't work.

Hi @Abhishek,

I am not sure if I understand entirely what you are trying to do here. But the combination of Testing required and Tester seems correct. I just think that the additional condition that says "the issue must have been in status In Progress ..." is overruling your other conditions here.

Since you are using a grouped condition of type "Any of the following", you are essentially saying that any issue that has been in the In Progress status is allowed to transition, regardless of the other conditions you specified. Changing that to  All of the following conditions should help - again, if my understanding is correct.

Ahh, yes, the status in progress was overruling the other conditions. Such an easy fix! I guess some time all that we need to fix our problems is a fresh set of eyes.
