How do I create a JIRA issue from an asset automation assigned to an attribute value

I am using an Assets automation in JIRA to Create JIRA Issue.  I have a User attribute in my asset object that I want to pass in the Assignee field.  I am able to pass the user attribute in the Description using ${Assigned To} and it brings back the correct user but I am not able to put this in the Assignee field.

Can you confirm that the user is an assignable user for the issue?
