I would like to same the work in an existing roadmap and come back to it next year, how do I archive an Advanced Roadmap in JIRA cloud
It looks like my only option is to delete it
Hi @Neil Wills,
Basically, you don't. An advanced roadmap is essentially a collection of views and features that work on top of issues and their data in Jira. It pulls in data via issue sources like a project, filter or board. It even has a built-in feature to hide issues that have been completed x months ago. So if you leave a plan just like it is right now and all work in the plan is completed, you will see nothing in it anymore in 12 months time.
If you want to reuse your plan next year with other data, all you need to do then is to update the issue sources behind that plan to pull in the new scope at that time.
Hope this helps!
