I have created a filter which gives me the correct list of epics/stories etc but when i add the Due Date column, it is blank for some of the epics as the Due Date in the master plan is rolled up from its children. I want to see the rolled up dates in the filter results
I am using Jira Premium
Hi @[deleted] -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I believe that you cannot show that dynamically rolled-up date with a JQL filter with out-of-the-box Jira.
If you have a scripting add-on from the marketplace, you could recreate the roll-up field.
Or, you could use a custom field and automation rules to roll-up the dates, and then report with the filter on the custom field.
Best regards,
Bill
Hi Bill - is there an Add-on you would suggest? this has become a real problem for our program reporting so i need to find a solution asap

Hi Sarah,
First thing: I am not a marketplace vendor...just a Jira user. :^)
I haven't used any of the scripting add-ons for a while, and I recall that ScriptRunner could do this. You may search below for more ideas. The vendors also contribute to this community so perhaps one of them, or another non-vendor, will give you ideas as well.

And if you do not want to wait, you can try the automation rule route for free to see how that works. Here is some documentation to get you started with that:
