How can i add "Epic Link" field when creating a story from Confluence

Question:

When user create a Story from Confluence he would like also to add the Epic link in the same form of creation but when i try to add the filed "Epic Link" in Jira from "Field Configuration" i see that it's blocked.

Please advise.

Sorry , didnt understand your quesion very clearly.

But if it is that you want to add the field 'Epic link' to the JIRA 'create issue' window of confluence, then you should be making the field 'Epic link' as mandatory in JIRA field configuration scheme. But the field 'Epic link' is locked and you cannot make it mandatory...

You can actually unlock the field by following the instructions in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-unlock-a-locked-field-779158866.html and then make it mandatory. And then lock it again and the changes.
