How can I vote for an issue already logged in your backlog?

I would like to submit my vote for an already logged issue in Jira Software Cloud's backlog. Can you please explain the process?

If all is well, hit the login link near the top right of the screen. Once you're in, you should be able to vote.

For more background on Atlassian's public backlog, I just bumped into this - somewhat older - Community Article I hope is still relevant.
