I have an Monday.com account that I'd like to transfer my tasks into Jira.
I tried importing my monday CSV file into Jira but it's not keeping/migrating any task notes?
Hello @Joshua Writer
Welcome to the community.
I have no idea what the content of the Monday CSV file might be, but I suggest that you review the documentation for JIRA CSV import and ensure that you are providing the data in a format and with a mapping that is will work for creating the data in JIRA.
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/create-issues-using-the-csv-importer/
You're going to have to figure out into which JIRA field you want to add that "task notes" data, and adjust/map the CSV accordingly.
After reviewing the documentation if you have additional questions let us know.
If you're still looking for a solution, we've launched an app in the Atlassian Marketplace, that was developed, and tested with the Monday team.
Thanks to that app, you're able to migrate all Monday items to your Jira projects with attachments, comments, custom fields, statuses, and so on :)
The app is available here (If you need DC/On-Prem version, it's available directly from us for now): https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225780/monday-com-jira-integration-2-way-sync-migration?hosting=cloud, you can also read more about us here.
Or reach out to me directly jacek@getint.io :)

Hello
do you know if in the trial version it migrates the attachments? I did a test and although if you migrate the elements of the board monday it does not migrate the attachments.

Hi! You need to have the column for the attachments to migrate it :)

I'm sorry but I didn't understand your suggestion.
My files are added in the file gallery and not in the file columns.
can only column files be migrated?

Updating and registering the information for another user who needs it.
It was informed by get_int_io that it only exports files that are in file columns.
Files inserted in comments are not exportable.
Thanks for the reply, now understood, @Jacek Wizmur _getint_io_
