Frequently I am grooming issues and realize that something relates to or duplicates another issue, so I try to link it:
Great, except when the prior issue is completed, it no longer shows up in the search and I can't link anything to it.
How can I get *all* issues to show up in that search box, regardless of their status? (I realize I can go to the other completed issue and link back the other way -- I don't want to do that. I just want to be able to see all issues from this search box.)
Two ways I work around this:
1. Type the full key of the completed ticket when searching for the issue to link and select the "Exact-key" option in your search results screen.
2. Link the active issue from the completed issue.
