How can I connect a different CI/CD tool to Jira for Deployment Information?

We're not using one of the offered integrations for CI/CD. We use Buildkite and would like to start to make use of Cycle Time reporting. There doesn't seem to be any details on how to integrate anything other than the offered apps.

Alternatively, we don't really even need deployment information. We use CD in that if something is merged to master (Done) then it is effectively deployed. Is there a way to just let the Cycle Time report consider Done as deployed?

How can I see Cycle Time with this setup?

You would need to find or write something that can read your Buildkite system and show data from it inside your Jira UI, or, have Buildkite directly update Jira issues as it runs stuff that needs to be reported in Jira.  (Jira has a REST API that Buildkite could be coded to talk to)
