Help Desk Model

Hello There :) 

My organization have Purchased JIRA Software Server, and we were thinking to get the help desk model but  I saw that the sales for this solution is over and I notice two other options which is Data Center and cloud, the cloud solation is not an option for us, but if the server option is disable, what I want to understand is what is the data center option?

Hey @Amna Test ,

Like @Fazila Ashraf already mentioned, the Datacenter offering is very similar to the Server one.

Meaning that it is still an on premise solution but you can run multiple nodes to provide better uptime/load balancing/... 

The one catch is that while Server is a perpetual licensing model, the DC version is a subscription based model. Meaning you'll have to pay a license fee each year (similar to your maintenance fee for Server but higher) but also once you stop paying the fee the environment will become read-only. (where on Server you just lost your support and access to new licenses)

About Data center product -> https://www.atlassian.com/enterprise/data-center , it is an on perm solution like server but a multi node setup. The pricing is also different.
