Global comment and description text replacement across multiple tickets?

Does Jira Software support the ability to replace text in comments and descriptions across multiple tickets in multiple projects?

We want to use hyperlinks to a legacy instance of Trac. These would go into Description and Comment fields. But... we will eventually change where we host that legacy Trac instance, so we'd want to globally modify all the links pointing to it — so they don't break.

Is this possible in Jira Software?

Hi @Eiren Smith 

It is not possible to do bulk change of description and comment in Jira. Using Bulk change you can however add a comment on multiple tickets.

You might want to take a look at the Jira Cloud REST api.
