Fields not appearing even though it is added to default screen for issue.
Dose the context of the field is configured for you project ?
You can allways check the "Where is my field?" screen.
Jus click on " . " and start typing Where is my field?
Thanks for the response. I am using JIRA 8.4.1
In this version, "Where is my field" option is not available.
I went to project settings -> Issue Types -> View Issue Screen and added the fields I need
But all the fields are not appearing on Create/Edit/View Issue.

What Pedro meant was to check System > Custom fields > hamburger next to your field > configuration > context.
PLease keep in mind that empty custom field won't appear on view screen.
