Error when publishing an automation

Hi all,

I am receiving a strange error when setting up a basic automation that does the following:

  1. On the first of the month, create a new task and move it into Selected for Development(workflow status)

image.pngAny tips? I have read about including a trigger but that seems unnecessary given the use case. Is there a way to create an issue in a given status?

The way you have configured your automation would require that you check the box for "Run a JQL search and execute actions for each issue in the query." in the scheduled trigger. The reason is that you have a transition component that is not linked to the task you are creating. I assume you want to transition the newly created task, and if so you have to add a branch component before it like this:

I was using conditions on this instead of a branch. This resolved - thanks!
