Does users get retained in jira server after using jira cloud migration assistance ?

What will happen to users/groups/project roles in jira server ,post migration of specific project to cloud ?

Will they get retained and able to login and perform there activities in jira server as usual ?

The simple answer is yes. Nothing will happen to your data in server instance as migration is fully read-only process.

But you should not allow users to do activities in server instance after migration as it will cause data mismatch in server and cloud instance.
