Does Jira Cloud support Active Directory

Joe McCord April 23, 2018

We currently have Jira locally and it's linked to our company's AD for user authentication.  If we migrated to Jira Cloud, would we need to recreate all the user accounts or can we link the Jira Cloud instance to our AD?

Jira cloud does not currently support Active Directory authentication:

When setting up your cloud site, you will have to invite all of the required users:

You may also want to review the new Identity Manager and the services this (early access) will provide:

Hi Joe,

AD is not supported directly but if you are using an identity provider, Atlassian's Identity Manager will help with this layer of integration.

It's still in the early release days so it could be buggy.
