There is no way to automatically pull this data such that you can copy into a custom field. Also consider some/many user are in multiple roles. You could manually enter the role using a drop down field.
Thank You!
Can we display the groups in a group picker(multi select)?
eg: the group picker should select groups the users is added to.(jira_software users , sprintmanagers etc

You would need to do that manually as well. In other words, you can't reference any of those fields automatically. You would need to create a custom field and add the values that equate to the same groups under user management and then manually select them in the multi select custom field. Obviously this could become a maintenance nightmare since anytime you edited the groups under user management you would need to also update your custom field context.

Given that @Jack Brickey has pointed out most of the complexities of doing this, maybe if you could tell us why you think the issue data that an assignee is in a role and/or group is of any use in getting the issue done?

Thanks you for your response Jack and Nic!
We have an issue flow where multiple teams are involved. For example, when a initial ticket is raised it will be sent toL1 for analysis, then L2,L3,Tetsing,Release etc.
In this case, we are trying to pull a report that gives us the detail like(which team is currently holding this request, whether the ticket is assigned to correct group )

That sounds like you should know automatically what group it is currently with from the status of the issue.
