I have some automations set up within a team-managed project that are supposed to be triggered when deployments are completed. I have completed several deployments but the audit log does not show anything triggered, only the rule updates. Here is a screenshot:
Our Jira instance is linked to Bitbucket and the deployment information appears within the deployments tab in Jira, so I believe everything is configured correctly. Can anyone explain why this rule is not being triggered?
My notifications have started working, the only difference being these deployments contain Jira issues where as my other deployments did not because I was just testing it out. Therefore it looks like the automation rules are only triggered if there is a commit or pull request in the build that references a Jira issue.
Hello @Stephen Roberts
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Is your Bitbucket self-hosted or are you using Bitbucket Cloud? Self hosted source code management tools are not supported by the DevOps triggers in Automation for Jira Cloud.

Hi Trudy, we are using BitBucket Cloud and everything else seems to be integrated correctly - deployments are showing under the Deployments section in Jira:
Unless there is another setting somewhere I'm missing?
