Default estimates in improved Roadmap inteface

Hi All,
I am creating a roadmap for my project but we have some un-estimated stories in our backlog. In the old Roadmap interface it was possible to define how to handle suche stories. Incl. the possibility to use default estimates. I am misssing this feature in the improved UI.
I would really like to avoid switching to the old interface which means more learning effort and no one knows how long this will be available at all...
Is it possible to do a similar thing like default estimates (maybe using scenarios...) in the redesigned interface?
Does anyone know if this feature maybe come back?
