Hi there,
I've been given an epic that already has its children manually created and ranked, in Jira Software (Server/DC) v 7.12.
The ask is to add the same set of tasks to a number of other epics under the same initiative. I can import the tasks and link to the relevant epics via epic link values, however the order of the tasks are not retained. I tried to add a ranking column to the CSV in the hope that Jira might translate this into unique rank values similarly to the generating the brand new issue keys, but no success.
Tried to browse related articles but haven't found one yet. If there is an article out there, could you help me to locate it? If not, how could I retain the order of the new tasks imported to the existing epics via csv so that they appear in the correct order? Is this possible please?
Thank you!
