Create custom field options with jira server REST API

I was able to use the jira cloud rest API outlined in https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v2/api-group-issue-custom-field-options/#api-rest-api-2-field-fieldid-context-contextid-option-post, to create custom field options, is it possible to do the same on server? I've checked through the server documentation, didn't get any leads

I don't think that it is implemented for JIRA server.
