Create a JSD request mimetizing a FAQ

Mafalda Sanches January 9, 2019

In the context of JSD Cloud, I want to create a request type in the customer portal that acts like FAQ.

I know one possible way, which is to create a 'blank' request that is automatically closed after creation and added a public comment with the response to that question/request type raised. And this is possible using the service desk automation.

I am wondering, (and this is the challenge here) if there is a more elegant approach to do this without any add on and without the use of Confluence (for example, link to a KB).

If you have any idea, thought or suggestion, please let me know.

Hi Mafalda,

Do you know Questions for Confluence? https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/questions

This is not part of JSD but maybe can meet the other requirements you have.

Hope it helps,

Carlos

Hello Carlos,

Thanks for your reply. This is a challange/idea about solely using the native features of JSD. As you can read in my post, I pretend to accomplish this without any use of Confluence. If you have any other idea please let me know.

Thanks!

Mafalda
