Copy pasting cells from Excel (desktop) is creating an image of the pasted cells

Step to reproduce:

1. Copy a few cells from Excel (desktop). I am using the latest Excel.

2. Paste it in an Jira ticket description

3. An image of the table gets created in the last cell of the table

Hi Manish I was able to reproduce something similar on my cloud site, but couldn't find anything specific that was open.  I found this closed one that was marked as "Won't Fix" that seems close to your issue: JSDCLOUD-4039 

You might want to contact support (support.atlassian.com/contact) and get their feedback.  I think it needs to be looked at further.
