Comments date time format

Irina Pozdnyakova

Hello!

Some of our users have relative date and time format and some - absolute. I mean for some users date on comments displayed as 4 hours ago and for some as exact date.

I read a lot of articles related to this problem but could't find a proper solution for Jira Cloud.

Is it possible to change date and time format (at least for comments) from relative to absolute for all my users?

Hi @Irina Pozdnyakova

  • When the date of the action is <= 7 days ago, you’ll be able to switch between relative and absolute formats by clicking on the timestamp.
  • When the date of the action is > 7 days ago, it will always show the timestamp in absolute format, as per our design guidelines.
