Changing sort order of Transition drop zones within board column

I have 2 workflow transitions from my ToDo status to my Implementation status (separate transitions because they have separate conditions and post-functions).

When dragging a ticket from the ToDo column, the drop zones for these transitions are not in my desired order.  Is there a way to control that?

Hi @Chris Campbell

I'd give opsbar-sequence a go:

  1. Edit your Workflow
  2. From the Diagram view, select the transition you want at the top - and from the pop-up, select Properties
  3. In Property Key, enter opsbar-sequence
  4. In Property Value, enter 10
  5. Repeat this process for the bottom transition, but enter the Property Value as 20 (or any other larger number)
  6. Publish the Workflow

Let us know if this works!

I did try setting opsbar-sequence values for the transitions... and that worked to control the order in which the buttons are shown on tickets.  But it did not work to control the order of the dropzones on the board.

Hi @Chris Campbell

I think it might be based on Transition ID - based on...

  • I created a closed workflow, with two closed transitions to one status
  • On the board, the first created one was above the second (regardless of opsbar-sequence)
  • So, I deleted the first one I created, and recreated it
  • Now, the "third" one was below the second one

^ I'd suggest delete the one you want to move and recreate it, should fix it.
