I have been asked to change name of an exisiting workflow transition and status from "Integrate" and "In Integration" to "Test" and "In Test". If I do so, what happens to existing issues that may be in the "In Integration" state?
Hi Fred,
Nothing should happen to the issues themselves, but you will want to do a re-index after the change.
However, you will probably need to update filters or reports that use those status names.
Also, realize that if you change the status name, it changes it everywhere - not just in that one workflow. So if you use those names in other places, you will want to edit the workflow to add the new statuses, adjust the transitions, and then drop the old statuses from the workflow. This will also require a migration of any issues in those statuses when you publish the workflow.
This last option is the best in my opinion.
Yes, if you just change the name of the status (and edit the transition name of course)

Understand about re-index. All of my projects are "cloned" from the same template project. Understand about filters and reports. What I want to happen is that all exisiting issues with the "In Integration" status will show "In Test" status after the change. Will this happen?
