Can I edit the JIRA mobile app notifications ?

To give you guys more details, what I mean is I know I can modify it lightly from the settings, like receive only assigned issue notifications or watched issue notifications... but can I edit them in details? Like you do during Notification Schemes,

Hi Alex, 

Apart from configuration provided in app settings to control the notifications, users dont have any other control over the notifications.However, JIRA app would respect any configuration you have in Notification schemes so if you want to setup a custom scheme, please do it from JIRA Notification scheme on web.

This is not ideal. why would i need an email notification plus a notification through the app on the same device? makes me want to turn off all notifications instead.
