Is there a way to setup SLA's on Jira software projects (cloud) or this is supported for service management projects.

SLAs are a function of service management, not software development.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to have an SLA on a development project - your developers are not working in a support model and while, in theory, you could impose SLAs on development teams, it really won't work and it's pretty much the opposite of Agile.

hi @yaron

Nope you cannot define SLA for Jira Software projects. SLA is feature of Jira Service Management project only.

In case if you want to configure SLA for software projects you can check out this plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211843/time-to-sla?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
