Can I add a filter for a custome label field?

At the top of a board we get a search box, member list and quick filters. 

The preset Jira Label field does show up as a quick filter. I wanted to create a custom Label field so I could change the name of the field to make it more descriptive, but it does now show up in the quick filter section. 

Is there a way to add a filter for this custom label field? 

This is what I mean by the quick filters: 

Currently it's only showing the preset "Type" Jira field, but not my custom label field.

Hi Andrea,

It's surprising I've just found there is no possibility to create quick filters for the next-gen projects yet (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17446).

I see. Yes I wasn't sure if it really didn't exist yet, I know next-gen projects are simpler but this feature seemed like it could be there hiding somewhere.
