Bug - unable to delete or edit the name of a column

I'm unable to delete or edit the name of my columns in Jira, I get this error message:

I have admin access, also my teammate tried the same thing and it didn't work

Hi Rupert - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Sometimes this is just a temporary thing. I would give it a little while and then try again. Maybe even disconnect and reconnect. 

Is it just one column? Or all of them? Can you edit columns on other boards?

Hey John, yes this is happening to all columns and it's been persistent for weeks

You should definitely open a Support Ticket with Atlassian:

Thanks, John, we are doing so. I didn't send it originally as I didn't see the option available to me. It turns out, only admins of the whole of Jira can submit support tickets. This makes no sense to me, I'm the admin of the project, I should be able to submit a technical issue to support.
