Best practices for multiple projects and global tasks

Daniel Fatkic September 22, 2017

We're going to have > 30 "small projects", each with own release cycles and versions and we're going to have global tasks, which we'll need to run on all our projects.

Is there a way, to either create 1 task and save it to all our small projects as new task, or is there a way to create automatically subtasks for all our projects when I create a new task in our "global tasks" project?

What would be the best way to accomplish this with jira cloud?

Daniel, I'm not sure that's possible in cloud.  I know that Scriptrunner can support creating other issues on transition but I use it in the server environment.  As far duplicating a task to all other projects clone issue might be your best bet?
