Is it possible to create a rule that exports incidents?
In Jira Automation it is possible to run the rule from time to time and it is possible to select the issues using a filter, but I don't see a way to export the issues.
Do you know a way to do it?
Thank you and greetings.
Hi @David Arévalo ,
You want to export the issues/incidents on the basis of Jira filters.
Atlassian provides an feature related to the similar requirement, you can achieve it through Filter Subscription.
It gets notified to the recipient related to your filters go through the links for more details
Automation rules are not directly providing the export features, you have to use 3rd party plugin to add the external action on the automations like Better Excel Automation for Jira etc.
if this is helpful to you, accept it for others😊.
That's actually about to change! :)
You are in time to get your hands on the first working prototype soon. Anyone who is interested in Jira Cloud PDF automation or Excel automation, please shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can let you now as soon as it comes out!
Hi @David Arévalo , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
You could use filter subscriptions to do something like this, which allow you to program the sending of a list of issues that meet a certain criteria to an email address. Please check out the documentation here - Manage filters | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support.
