Assign issue to someone new o previous

Hello Guys,

I'm trying to create a rule that when any items pass to TEST column must be assigned to someone.

And if the story or task is returned to DEV column, must be assigned to its prior owner.

You will want to do the following (assuming Classic project):

• workflow transition to Test status needs a Condition that requires Assignee not empty
• workflow transition to Dev status include a copy field Post Function to copy from a “DEV assignee” custom field into Assignee field. Note the need to create this custom filed and you will need the next step as well
• workflow transition from Dev status to Test status you want to have a post function to copy from Assignee to your custom field. This will preserve the developer user for use in second step.
