Advanced Roadmap: Configuration of my Roadmap

Alex Guarino January 27, 2021

Hi all,

I have this structure:

  • Release (like Initiative)
    • Change Request and Defect
      • Factory e Drop (like story)

How I configure my advanced road to view my structure?

The Release is connected to ChangeRequest by parent link (and I see on my Adv Roadmap).

The Factory is connected to Change Request by Epic link (and I see on my Adv roadmap).

The Drop is connected to Factory and ChangeRequest with a simple relationship (not epic o parent link).

I don't see the issue "Drop". have I configure epic link/parent link to ChangeRequest or Defect? it is possible to configure my structure without an Epic link or Parent link?

Thanks!

Hi @Alex Guarino

Advanced Roadmaps utilises Epic Link / Parent Link for the work structure.

If you're using linked issues (for example) for Drop, this would be classed as a sibling relationship rather than parent/child, thus not show on the Roadmap. It's not possible to modify this at present.

You'd need to consider utilising an app to have a more customised hierarchy - like Structure - although this would still not function within Advanced Roadmaps.
