Adding a custom field to the filters of the Roadmap

Xavier Roy June 17, 2021

Hi,

I’m using a Scrum template for a company-managed project.

I’ve created a custom field, “Customer”, that I can use in all my issues. That field is displayed in any issue next to, e.g., “Assignee”, “Reporter”, “Labels”, …

I’m interested to use this new custom field, “Customer”, as a filter to my roadmap. Right now, on the roadmap page of my project, I can only see “Status Category” and “Label”.

I’ve seen this doc that mentions how to customise the roadmap view https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/customize-your-view-on-the-roadmap/ but nothing helpful for my problem. What I want is customising point 1 in the diagram therein with the additional filter “Customer”.

How can I do this?

Thanks!

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.

That functionality is not supported in the Basic Roadmaps in the Standard product plan supports adding other fields for filtering. That is only supported in Advanced Roadmaps in the Premium product plan.
