Can anyone explain how to create automation using Script Runner (when transferring a task to any status, a subtask should be created).
I created an automation rule, but how do I attach a script to it?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There are several places where you might want to create a subtask ("transferring a task" does not tell us quite enough to be sure where you want to do it), so I've picked a few sample scrips instead of a definitive one for your case.  The scripts at https://library.adaptavist.com/search?library-content%5Bquery%5D=create%20subtask can be used as a good starting point, but there is a built-in script that can create a task too, so you don't need to code anything (it is simple though, doesn't populate any data beyond the summary)
