Streamlining your project management experience with the Atlas app

Updated 24th April 2024:

This feature is now also enabled by default to all Premium and Enterprise users in Jira Software and Jira Work Management Cloud.

If, for any reason, you want to disable it, follow the easy steps at the bottom of this page.

Last month, we introduced a new feature that's now available to both our free and standard users - the Atlas for Jira Cloud app!

As part of our commitment to continually enhance your experience with the Atlassian Platform, we’ve now enabled this app for all Free and Standard users in Jira Software Cloud.

What is Atlas for Jira Cloud?

Atlas is a teamwork directory designed to connect the dots across teams, their apps, and work – wherever it happens. In Atlas, you can see your people and teams, and the projects they’re delivering in support of your organization’s goals.

And, with the Atlas app, you can now connect your Atlas goals directly with your Jira epics (or above in the issue hierarchy). This means you can now keep your project names and dates perfectly in sync, which will significantly improve team planning.

Plus, you can access your linked Atlas projects' status, latest updates, and context, without leaving Jira Software, making project management easier and more efficient.

We believe in the continuous evolution of our platform, and this installation represents our commitment to providing more integrated and automated solutions across Atlassian. We envisioned the Atlas app to be a tool that would make the connection between Jira epics and Atlas projects more effortless than ever.

We want to bring you the best project management experience possible, and the Atlas app is a big step in that direction. We're confident that you'll find it a valuable addition to your toolkit, and we're excited to see the innovative ways you'll use it to drive your projects forward 👏
