Using Jira Assets for Marketing Swag

Hoping to spark a conversation about using Jira Assets to track swag and promo items. I haven't been able to find any examples for this particular use online.

It can be quite a challenge to track pens, jackets, hats, mugs, etc  and what was sent to a conference and did any of it come back? So, I am exploring Assets as a solution since we already have a service desk for marketing requests.

Does anyone have insight into developing the schema, types, and attributes for marketing team assets?

Thanks! I am also completing an Atlassian University course to get the basics of Assets right :)

Hi @Carina Lazarich,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

I don't have any insight into setting it up, but I believe there are articles about it, but I know that Assets can be used for this. I know for example that Nasa used it to track marketing material in Assets and the company that developed it before Atlassian acquired it used it to track contracts and partners.

I found this write-up from Atlassian on asset management that should give you some insights on how to do it.
