Hello,
When you enter the portal, there is a button called "Need to raise a request? Contact us.".
We would want to hide this button. So we see all request types without needed to press on this button. From some of the discussion in this community I found out that it is a default functionality and therefor cannot be hidden out-of-box.
Here is the link >> https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Is-it-possible-to-make-the-Need-to-raise-a-request-Contact-us/qaq-p/1450136
But the thing is that I have more than one Atlassian Jira site and in this other site I also have Service Management product and I do not see this button, it is a weird thing. I do not get at which point it appears.
Maybe is related to link of the confluence, but I was not able to figure that out.
Also did not find anything in portal customization section or portal settings regarding this particular button.
Do some of you guys have an idea about this topic?
Juris.
Hello @Juris Bergmanis
What you are describing is the portal groups functionality.
You can find the portal groups by going to the JSM Project > Project Settings > Portal Groups tab
Here you can create new groups and add Request Type forms to them so you can guide your customers to the correct form.
Is that what you mean or are you looking for something else?
I am not sure if this is related to groups. I added a screenshot of a button I want to get rid of. Because I have only 1 group (General).
There are many Service Management portals where I do not have this button and I directly see request types.
Instead I would want to directly show all the available request types:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Can you check under Project Settings > Request Types to see if there are any request types that are hidden from the portal?

Only hidden request types are "E-mail" request type. I do not thing that it is related to that section, because I have another project, where I have more hidden request types, which are disabled and still have no button "Need to raise a request? Contact us."

Hi Juris,
Just wanted to see if you were able to figure this out? I am also having the same issue recently and I was unable to find any setting for that either

By disconnecting Confluence integration from the project, you can get rid of that button. That is all what I found.

This is controlled by knowledge base article categories.
To remove this intro page, in your service project, go to Knowledge base and remove everything under CATEGORIES.
