JSM form rules for due date

髙木 陽菜 June 25, 2024

Is it possible to create a rule so that when a customer enters a due date in a form, they can only select a date that is 30 days after from the current date??

Hi,

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

To do this you can add a validator on the first transition in the workflow for that issue type:

Edit the workflow, click on the transition and choose Validators on the box that comes up.

Choose "Add validator" and select on "Date Compare" and then Add.

Here you can choose the Due Date and Expression:

Add the validator and then publish your workflow.

When someone tries to create a request too far in the future they will get an error:

Any more questions please let me know.
