I tried to set up an automation that should do the following:
When a certain status is entered -
- if the issue is of a certain issue type
- and the values of field A and field B are the same
- then auto-approve
Now if process an issue to said status, nothing happens. The Audit log of the automation states this:
"Actor does not have permission to view one or more issues, or the issue was deleted (please check permissions and issue security levels)"
I tried several actors and all resulted in this error:
- the standard Jira automation user
- an admin user (with full permissions in the project)
- the person in the approval field
Also, when I try to access the "Rule Executions" section on the respective ticket, an error occurs ("An unknown error occurred. Please reload and try again.").
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
