Hi, Community,
We recently announced that alert, on-call, and incident response features are now easier to access in Jira Service Management Cloud.
As part of this update, we are shutting down the incident command center (ICC) feature on the JSM incident issue view for all cloud customers on September 5th, 2024*.
Opsgenie will not be impacted by this change and Opsgenie customers will continue to have access to the ICC feature.
What do you need to do?
If you use the incident command center feature in your Jira Service Management instance, please plan to migrate off the ICC by September 5th, 2024.
We recommend transitioning to either Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Each of these integrations can be set up by an admin of your account today by following the support documentation links below.
What do you need to know?
To provide an innovative video conferencing solution in Jira Service Management we are enhancing our integrations with Zoom and Microsoft Teams so incident responders can come together to respond to, investigate, and resolve incidents faster. Recent improvements include:
Multi-tenant chat capabilities: connect your Jira Service Management site with multiple Microsoft Teams and Slack tenants and vice versa; connect a single Microsoft Teams or Slack tenant to multiple Jira Service Management sites - learn more.
Create a Microsoft Teams chat for any incident via Atlassian Automation - learn more
Emails announcing this update were sent to admins of Jira Service Management accounts who use the ICC feature in April and in May.
*The ICC feature does not store or retain any incident related data. As a result, you will not need to migrate any incident related data when you transition to Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.
Please leave your questions and comments about this change in the comments below. You can also join us for an AMA covering all things incident management, Thursday Aug 8th at 2 PM ET.
