Do you need to offer incident and alert management support across multiple Slack or Microsoft Teams workspaces but are unable to effectively connect them for one system of record or swarm?
Connect your Jira Service Management site with multiple Microsoft Teams and Slack tenants and vice versa; a single Teams or Slack tenant can be connected to multiple Jira Service Management sites. By connecting various workspaces together, your teams can quickly swarm on alerts and incidents to resolve them faster with Jira Service Management’s Chatops capabilities.
Multi-tenant capabilities for alert and incident management is already live and ready for customers to begin connecting today. To get started open Jira Service Management, go to Settings > Products > Operations > Chat and video tools > Select tool, and select Connect new tenant.
We introduced a new command to establish the default site, "/jsmops". By using /jsmops in your channel, you can connect to a specific Jira Service Management site. If the default site is not set prior to running the command and there are multiple JSM sites linked to the chat app, the command prompts the user to run the command and select a site. All the slash commands will be executed on the selected site for the user.
This release underscores our unwavering dedication to empowering customers to collaborate seamlessly across various domains using Jira Service Management. It enables efficient incident management and issue resolution for agile Business, Dev, and IT Operations teams, ensuring alignment and prompt responses.
Keep your 👀's out for more chatops updates to come!
