Upgrade Jira 8.2.1 to 8.9.1 => Bad version (8.10)+ error

Julian from AF June 29, 2020

Hello!

I created a test environment to upgrade Jira but i have different problems :

I checked the comparability of Apps and it seems better to upgrade to 8.9.1 instead the 8.10 (Jira Automation isn't compatible and others addon have the same problem).

I downloaded the good file (and the version is confirmed during the installation) but after installation i have the 8.10 ! Bad file on the webiste of Atlassian ?

Note i have installed the JSD too from 4.2.1 to 4.10

After upgrade and to try to troubleshoot i upgraded Jira software using upgrade button from 8.2.1 to 8.10

I have a lot of error in the atlassian-jira.log :

2020-06-29 11:12:39,948+0200 SdSerialisedOffThreadProcessor:thread-3 WARN [c.a.j.cache.request.RequestCacheImpl] From Jira 9.0 version creation/usage of RequestCacheImpl will throw the IllegalStateException.

Other problems : I cannot update any Apps + Gadget error in the dashboard. Maybe linked.. Never a good idea to upgrade :(

Thank you for your help.

EDIT : I found this bug report : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-6897
