How to write JQL queries in the macOS/iPadOS apps?

Ben Sarrazin August 11, 2021

No matter what I do, JQL queries never work in the search field.

Is there a way to turn this on? or a different way to access it?

Hey @Ben Sarrazin,

Thanks for being an Atlassian community member and using Jira Native Apps. JQL (advanced search) is not currently supported on the macOS or iPadOS apps. We are actively working on it and should have an update for you very soon 😀

Thanks

Jack

Hey @Ben Sarrazin - Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to update this thread to share we now support advanced search (JQL). You can find it on iOS, iPadOS and MacOS by sliding to the end of the filters in issue search and selecting 'advanced search'.

If you have any feedback please let us know.

Cheers,

Jack
