selected option stay in issue after remove from custom field list

Hello,

I update the list of options for a custom field and remove some old options.
however, some issues that selected an option that not exists in the field list any more still show the old selected value...
there is an option to set it to NONE automatically?

Bulk edit those issues that is having the old values.

First find those issues

project = {Project} AND customfield = "OLD VALUE"

Then perform a bulk edit, follow the link below.
