Structuring issues in multi-project list

Yordan Yordanov November 28, 2016

So our company is looking for a plugin that could give us options to make map of issues on multi-projects level. So you should be able to make one big list of ranking and order the issues. We need it to be on multi-project level because most of the programmers are working on 3/4 projects at the same time and they need to have a list of priorities. Is there a plugin that provides this kind of service. The only one that I found so far is https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.almworks.jira.structure/server/overview but it's only for Server...

Hi Yordan,

I might be over-simplifying here but (assuming all your projects are in the same instance, and you use JIRA Software), there's nothing to stop you making a Scrum or Kanban board that covers more than one project. You could use the backlog to order and rank all the issues, across many projects, in one big list.

You can do this if you make a filter that covers all the projects you want to see, and then set up the board to use that.

Would that do something like what you need? Or do you have specific requirements for viewing/organising the list that might not be covered by the standard functionality?
